Microsoft just sent off its first attack on Windows 7 pirates with its new Windows Activation Technologies Update which Microsoft has available for download as KB971033. Whether you have a real or fake Windows 7, stay away from the KB971033 update.
In early February I wrote an article warning pirated and non-pirated Windows 7 users about a new Microsoft Windows Activation Technologies Update (KB971033) which is set to catch users that have installed pirated copies of the Windows 7 operating system on their computers [Microsoft to Stop Windows 7 Piracy with New Update Coming Soon]. Well, the dreaded day has come and the Microsoft update that I was warning you about has been released as the KB971033 Windows Activation Technologies Update.

If you are the type of person that updates their operating system every time there is a download available (which I never do), you may want to avoid the new KB971033 download available for install on Microsoft's website.
